Rim Ring (Side Ring)

Rim ring (side ring), a component of multi-piece rims, not a complete rim. Used on Trilex and multi-piece steel rims for heavy trucks, it locks the tire onto the rim firmly, prevents it from coming off under high air pressure and heavy load, and lets it be changed by hand without a press.
